A flash of lightning
A roar of thunder
The darkness of the clouds
Covers the blue skys above
The lightning flashes again and again
The thunder roars after each flash
I'm scared, I'm worried
I want someone here with me
To tell me that everything is going to be okay
And that I'm safe
Safe within their arms
Then when the darkness clears
And I see the blue sky again
I thank God that I have
Someone to hold me when I'm frightned
