those black swirls of ink spoke,
as the frayed cord began to unwind
deeply with growing pressure inside,
catching that precious falling wave
roots running deep within the earth,
cracking pavement with loud grinding
jagged lines revealed the earth beneath,
that fragile heart now shattered into peices
there was torn paper which revealed everything,
she was desperately trying to imagine a better time
in a desert where water was nowhere to be found,
her wilting flowers died in the sunlight with dedication
the peaceful death of their beauty,
will never bloom again

Dire and great at the same time. Hugss
