your love is a river flowing into the ocean of my heart,
night and day the currents carry the splendor of your majesty
on the soft river delta's fertile soil, luscious crops grow vibrantly
each day growing stronger, reaching toward the magnificent sunlight
travelling the slopes of the plains, gently moving across tranquil landscapes
lovely yellow daisies signal the spirit within your boundaries, displaying their glory
while clusters of snowberry, growing in thickets of light pink splendor, captivate my eyes
and as the meadow lark sings from atop the fence into the sunset, he displays his love for creation
clouds of the glorious skies pass by, set on fire with the golden evening light
i see the depth of eternity in your eyes, set ablaze with passion
whispering softly in your ears, a song of sweetness
you turn and gaze upon me, i feel the calm beauty of your eyes reaching out to me
from the depths of your soul, a whispering call of want ensues and compels me
the gentle winds of your breath dance upon my senses, a gentle mist fills the air
from the depths of your soul

I'm inclined to agree writers like you guys and horse spirit and bern and many more don't come along every day but this guys is certainly in my top 10 ;) of course I am number one as my poetry really resonates to my soul and tastes lol! ;) love my self, yeah well Im entitled lol!
But seriously Burke, you work can be beautiful, painful, romantic but all to the extremes of emotions what a huge heart and deeply sensitively creative mind you have these last three are beyond brilliant! :)
