Waiting For The Sun To Light

Laying here

In this slender silence

Eating nothing but time

And always greedy

My teeth chatter

Like galloping geese

Screeching and honking

From icy hands

Faint light presses against the window

Patiently Persistent

It's cold, with no flame

Just empty sun, like faceless lamp

Locking my hands

In chains of bone and muscle

I wait for the quiet to grow unhungry

Or with starvation die

Thinking on a dull day

A cold empty morn

Waiting for the sun to light

Wow haven't been here for a while I'm starting to regret it. What a magnificent piece drawn in by the title and happily satisfied by the journey you brought me on. Bravo!
