The day your life came back to mine

Was filled with joyous tears,

Your laughter wiped away my fears

And warmed me more than sunshine.

Without you it was always fine,

Through all those lonely years

But then one day God turned the gears

And our lives did intertwine.

Now here I am once again

Alone and without you,

There's nowhere left to begin

And find a love so true.

I gave you all I had to give,

Now I see no reason to live.
