I know that right now is sweet

-- And that later will become even sweeter

I understand how deeply our present rivers flow

-- And that our oceans have only just begun

When I look at you I find myself getting lost

Yet somehow discovered all at the same time

As thoughts of you randomly imprint my mind

I find myself longing for you to be My One..



I listen to you and I feel all of your words

And expressions that distinctively brand my heart with infinite impressions

Of the beauty of your revelations that somehow survive

Through what God allows you to perceive through His eyes



Just when I am ready to surrender to the realities of loneliness

When I am preparing myself to do whatever it takes

To save my heart from the tears and agony of more blissful mistakes

A door is blown open and all I can see is You - My ONE to be..

Just standing there with this look on your beautiful face

T e l l i n g me that You understand WHAT I am

I n q u i r i n g about how You can fit into my PLANS



In an instant I feel you reach right inside of me

Now it is within your hands that I find myself fitting so damn comfortably

Your spirit gradually uncovering all of the things I was preparing to bury deeply within

Suddenly brought my surrender to loneliness to an abrupt end

My plight at running solo with life

Has been replaced with one of the most phenomenal rides

I have ever taken, and dare not deny..

As long as you exhale truthfully for me

My Love for you will ALWAYS come through

Because you are my Baby -

And when I tell you "I got You"
