I've spent many of my days in sorrow,

in your eyes I'm just a shadow.

These are the days I hope to forget ,

however in my heart will remain my regret.

The past has been left behind,

yet, figures still pass through my mind.

When you spent all those dreary nights at the bars,

you filled my body with dreadful scars.

I wish it had not gotten this far,

now all that's left is a broken star.

That will no longer shine,

for I will have the courage to be fine.

No need to apologize for your mistakes,

unfortunately you do not get any retakes.

I now realize that my life was all fake,

almost wish that I had never been awake .

Memories I hope that will fade away,

but the good ones I hope they stay.
