Warped and Twisted

On my knees, alive but dead

Look at the invisible blood I've bled

I'm not gone, my mind has drifted

Don't expect much, I'm warped and twisted

Alone in the world, out of my mind

Sanity is something I will never find

I'll be alone until the pain is lifted

But don't mind me, I'm warped and twisted

Burnt out, wasted, empty, and hollow

Today is nothing but yesterday's tomorrow

The sun died out, the ashes shifted

I can't say much, I'm warped and twisted

I saw you today, you threw me a smile

Light in my eyes could be seen from a mile

Seemed the pain no longer existed

Yet I'm still here...Warped and twisted...

wow, "today is nothing but yesterdays tomorrow" I've never thought about that, I always thought that tomorrow never came, but when you think of it that way...i guess tomorrow DOES come...I really like this poem too. I hate my writing, o.O yet people say they LIKE it. I think they're crazy...but yet, so am I. I am sorry for taking up this precious space in your comments. I like your stuff.
