Channel me back a year
Where butterflies were over-populated
And all thoughts were clear
When light governed shadows
While nerves were serene,
And all minds were hollow
Love came easy
Ignorance prevented worry
With the exception of leaving
Tears were forbidden
And drowning was rare
Now tears are common
And now nature itself is drowning
Along with me, which happens quite often

Well Written
A sad take on love. It seems that when love first blooms, nothing can go wrong, and everything is alright with the world. But time brings problems, and time breeds hate. Thought provoking poem. I enjoyed it.
