His head in my lap
my fingers stroking His hair
As His tears run down His cheeks
my voice soft and soothing
As i calmly talk to Him
Reassuring Him
i am there for Him
As much as He is
There for me
my soft kisses
On His closed eyelids
Taking the tears away
He moves in closer
As i hold Him tight
Our roles never reversed
i am there for Him
As much as He is
There for me
Why can't the roles be reversed? Who makes that decision?

This final poem in my reading experience of your gallery today is exquisitely tender, and therefore exquisitely conclusive to the entire experience. I have learned much from you today, and you have helped me focus for one of my next projects. I applaud your achivement and accomplishment. I have honestly commented on a few of the poems that I have not liked, and for that I apologize if I have given offense. But overall, I find your poetic achivement highly polished and highly admirable.
