When You mention her name.
i want to be her
To fill You with passion,
To receive Your tenderness
This has been said a thousand times over, for a thousand years. Yet, you write it as if it has never been said before---and you achieve that because of your strategy of compression. I think you are, at heart, an epigrammatist, like so many of the most successful ancient Poets. And, whether you really are or not, when you use the form, you use it with aplomb and skill.
