Poem for Every Night If I understood everything that I was told,
would I be wise or too eager?
If I knew how to perfectly respond to everything that I heard,
would I be thoughtful or arrogant?
If I said everything that should be said,
would I be a revolutionary or an idiot?
If I said something rather than nothing,
would I be an activist or a fool?
If I thought nothing rather than something,
would it truly matter?
