(Song) Trial of You

Folder:
Music (T)

Free from life but then chained in hell
Searching for water in an empty well
What do I say when nothing's to tell
When I cannot speak still I try to yell

Hold you close just to let you go
Memmories now are seeming so hollow
Empty heart with a broken soul and
Empathy just won't fill this hole

A complete puzzle with a large missing space
Emptiness is now the void I encase
Without you is now the trial I must face
I face
Must face

Is it the rain or tears I wipe away
From the feeling being so betratyed
Emotions raging and I'm in dismay
Like a front line battle fighting in the fray

A complete puzzle with a large missing space
Emptiness is now the void I encase
Without you is now the trial I must face
I face
Must face

Looking through these photoalbulms from so long ago
Pictures simply can't replace you film is just a show
Or a book with a hundred pages and not a word to see
Still a tragedy

You're in the light while I'm in the dark
I know you're gone but you've left a mark
I'm forever scarred by an angels heart
Begin a journey to see you that I have embarked

A complete puzzle with a large missing space
Emptiness is now the void I encase
Without you is now the trial I must face
I face
Must face

Author's Notes/Comments:

Today was a day my Uncle Romano will never forget. I write this song dedicating it to both him and his father/my grandfather Rocco Robba.

Nice Tribute

I face

must face

belongs at the end of each verse - marvelous repetition. I missed it when it was away.  (after tell what I face/what i must face, for variety. The rhymes are secondary to such a fine and paramount image Love the rhyme scheme of the last stanza space/encase/face/face/face. Exceptional writing in there. :D
