He was there for me

Now he's not

Buried beneath the ground

To be forgotten

But not by me



He will live in me

And be passed down to my children

And he will never die



He will live for all eternity

Past the mountains and the sea

Beyond the sky and the rain

He will never die

He will be with me for always and forever

i wrote this poem in science class after my friend had had me write two others for her. i wrote it about my dog who had been hit by a car a few days earlier.... by my sister

I won't forget him either. I love the part "past the mountains and the sea / beyond the sky and the rain". A beautiful poem for a beautiful creature.
