A little Song for Dennis - (Sinned)

Note this! - a precious bard he is,

Known by the pen name  “Sinned” - Dennis;

'Gainst  modesty he never   sinned,-

And thus  was given  Spirit, - Wind!"

Modest, and  unobtrusively

He writes his lovely poetry,

So independent of loud praise,

And leaves to God to work His  ways.

Lo! -"Sin" he hardly did commit,

For "Sin" on him just would not sit.

But he does write alone for God

Who counts the comment numbers  not.

Nor is He fan of cliques that roam,

For  HE iis everywhere at home,

And for God's greater glory t'is

That "Sinned" does write, - praise bard Dennis"!.

Far from the Lord  is cliquishness;

Who loves the bard autonomous

Beyond some the poet sis or brother

Who solely  support each  other.

O'ershadowed by the site Elite,-

But manifest will be  what’s  hid,

(Ah! his will happen on “that” day

When more than pious  poets pray)

Aloof to  comment counting he

Is from harsh  tribulation free,

For  lo! his  poems’ noble word

Is praise - praise only for the Lord.!

Halt cliquishness, lest it will spread

And spoil the dough, for poets’ bread,

The daily bread of poet bard,

With nothing left but rancid lard.

Winner is who writes for Him

Though comments may be rare and slim,

Oh Comment counters,  take ye  heed-

The Lord has not of comments need!.

As Judge of all in heaven and earth

HE judges well a poem’s worth,

This Judge Supreme and Commissar

Hugs  “Sinned” - yes “Sinned” -   His favorite star.!.

AD MAJOREM DEI GLORIA!

For the Greater Glory of God!

Author's Notes/Comments:

This is a dedicatiln to a poet peer  who is so very modest and almost hides his talent, and so much deserved.
