Moonstone (a.k.a. "The Lifesavor")

This token, tiny yet in silver sheen

can glow a chain of memories.

Our proof of shared, irreplaceable time

infused within a gem;

something indelible

as it is treasured everafter.

If I could, then I would

soar to where you are

to assure everything is safe.

Even when you cross over troubled tears

no matter how high or low.

I'll throw this gem into the lake

reflecting the starry sky

and ripple wishing that I may

see you once more.

...Fly away, fly away Love...

...Fly away, fly away Love...

because I send this gem

to where you sleep peacefully

beneath the honey-flavored night.

We are separated for so long

but I'll hope that this tiny treasure

will flow to where you are

and find you again...

Sweet and romantic. You're fantastical. I'm not complaining by any means. I like it and I like the poems that sprout from your wonderful mind.

This poem is without a doubt, a really good one, and I admire how you write your poetry down with words that ring true to the heart, mind, and soul!!
