Moving along at 10 mph

on interstate 880 westbound

there is no possible means

to circumvent compacted traffic.

Bumper to bumper after waiting

nearly one hour and seventeen minutes

I've traversed fifteen meters

from where my car once stood.

I don't have a choice

but to acquiesce to my forced patience

on this cold winter day.
