So true.  Seriously...  Basically it means people who don't know how to 'sin' or who try to perfect by not sinning at all or who totally avoid evil even though it's inescapable (meaning they could lie to themselves by deceiving themselves that evil can be wiped out completely) are people who don't have any virtues no matter how you try to argue it away from it.  A real good quote especially coming from Abe Lincoln.
