Ignorance Is Not Wisdom!

I beg to differ. Ignorance definitively is a breeding ground of evil. It begets hate, fear, hypocrisy, self-centeredness, and worse, more ignorance, etc. painting a black and white portrait of reality. It is a worse evil than evil itself or even naming an evil figure such as the devil. Human history can exemplify such. I do concede that knowledge under circumstance may be a bad thing but don't forget that knowledge may 'also' be used for the greater good. Knowledge is based on how one utilizes it; whether good, bad, or indifference. Yet I prefer for good and I'm willing to defend it.

Although it's a mixed bag, to IGNORE the duality of knowledge, good and bad, is to allow evil to win anyways regardless of what you believe because one is prone to destruction of the self and/or others not matter how innocent it may be. Take, for instance, the Salem Witch Trials in the 16th century C.E., how innocent lives such as Rebecca Nurse were killed for the sake that witchcraft, a named evil, ran rampant in town and terrified it. Ignorance of the condemned's innocence caused their deaths because no one listened to their defense.  The town just ignored it and thought of it as more bewitchment, for example, leading to spectral evidence and the allegations of the supposed "possesed" girls.  And as a consequence doing they're hung for this "crime."  This incident later shaped our justice system in the U.S.  Innocent until proven guilty.

So pardon but "ignorance in any form or thought is never at all wisdom." It should be placed under destruction, levity, nonsensical... To IGNORE the reality does not change it so be careful how you might interpret the world. All ignorance does is destroy the mind AND heart!!!
