Depression Harms But Music Soars And Sooths

The depression comes from deep inside you
It leads to an explosion unknowing
All the pieces are now under the pew
The pieces are dreadful that I’m sewing
The outside shows happiness, inside not
A powerful might could always change that
Inside shows sorrow, outside a robot
A light could be a might to change all that
The music plays and whispers through my hair
The heart cries in deep agony and pain
The music delivers sound to my lair (heart)
Music turns pain into a game of hope
Forever depression lays deep within
The music will soar to cure pain within.

Take in consideration, this

Take in consideration, this is not fact but only my own 'theory': The dark depths of every human being do not fade or disappear. They are not something that are privy towards those handfuls alone, who have experienced heart-shattering moments of the soul and mind. It is something that is fed from the outer world and stems from a combination of our conditioning and the effects of how we as a species have chosen to address human evolution. The key is becoming balanced first with the self, and then with the outer world in such a way that we always have more light within us to spare for others in time of need, which adds to our own light. Self expression of what we feel, is really just a reflection of what we have created in the outer world as a species... if we wallow in that what we create as 'ours' and 'ours alone', then we stiffle our creative spark because we are sharing for the sake of ourselves alone, no? The spark wihin us needs to grow in order for us to grow. And it grows only by connecting with other 'sparks'. Not everyone will undrstand you, but there is always at least one person out there who will. Just my thoughts. ~peace~

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

Thanks for commenting :D

You are right. I don't feel like anyone understands me, or anyone decides to believe that what I feel is true Until I say or do something about it. Just to be able to share feelings and emotions with people who feel the same way I feel as though it helps them. It helps them because there is another person in the world who knows exactly how you feel. I have gone through a lot in life, so I feel as if I help others by letting them know someone cares and understands them. Thanks for commenting! :)

Yes...I feel similar. Not

Yes...I feel similar. Not exactly, but close. Thanks for considering.

Consider This

Hormones determine how you feel as a foundation - PMS can sent you flying in all directions, menapause can cause a roller coaster of emotions - without your consent of conscious choice. The day after or the week after you don't remember episodes of (fill in the blank). The artificial mask is how we want to be viewed (my theory) who we truly are and truly feel is for family and really close friend(s). I am 63, there is no cure - empathy is impossible, an approximation. Ultimately, you feel the way you make yourself feel (most of the time of the month). When plunging to depression, count your blessings until the "mood/illness" fades. Start with: "I'm alive and happy" ~~Allets~~
