The Day

Folder:
Deeper Meanings

Our day begins with a mighty cold

Making bones feel brittle and old

Starting dark and less of light

As it goes on, it's a more lasting bright

As the day moves on, the cold does calm

And you can catch the moisture in your palm

And suddenly our day does bring

The choir's angels as they do sing

Around mid day and moving on

We sit under a higher sun

Waves are patting on the sand

The lighter wheels take to the land

As the evening rolls around

The sun sinks closer to the ground

Having sung the day so long

The choir sings thier final song

As the night makes its presense known

The lighter wheels travel home

As our day nears and end

Suddenly it's cold again.

Author's Notes/Comments:

If you deeply into this poem it can be a metaphor for several diffrent things:
A relationship, begining than ending
A life, begining than ending
A short lived visit from a lover
A day, begining and ending

All of theses and probally more can be found in these. The meanings above are the ones I have related to me and our relationship. I love you

Hey hun. Wonderful poem. It all depends on who you are and how you look at it, for what you will take from this poem. At first glance, and little thought, it's about a day, from one night to another. But it can be so much more. It kind-of reminds me of when you came to visit. Here for a little while, then gone. And of course the happy feeling that came with your presence. Could also be looked at as a relationship, starting and ending. Any way you look at it, it's a beautiful poem.
Forever and always,

I looked deeper and could not see what you are driving at. Sorry.
