This is the story of a man that i know
Who knows more then me or you
Yet this man has no home on this planet you see
But homeless he's not in truth
You may pass him by in the park every day
Or on the streets on your way to school
But my friend with no roof does have a light
And a verry wonderful tool
You may spit in his face and damn him to hell
But he still tries to reach out
You can strike him or kick him or laugh at his fate
But he'll stand strong, chest out
One day it'll be too much for him
And his life wil be cut short
And one more time he'll shout out and say
"Thanks to Christ, I'm homeless nomore!"
My pastor often says that our life on this planet does not last long and is small compaired to eternity. So well our lives matter and we should make much of it we need to remember that our home is not here but in heaven so even when things look the darkest remember that God has a place for you that is perfect and will last forever.
Hey hun. The message this poem gives couldn't be any better. It's amazing how no matter which road we take, God will always be there to forgive. And as long as we stay faithful to Him, and enjoy what he's given us, we'll have eternal life in heaven.
Forever and always,
~Me~
