In the spring and in the summer,
My heart beats fast for you just like a drummer!
When I try to make you happy, everything I do is wrong,
When I'm alone it sure feels long!
In the day and a hot summer night,
I try my best to make you feel alright!
Taking pills is something I have to do,
When I can't be alone with you!
Carrie, my love, you make me feel so happy,
Even when I make you want to slap me!
I've been waiting for you my whole life,
Just to even call you my wife!
Soon we will spend our lives together,
And we will live happily forever after!
Finally, my dream has come true,
When I get to be with you!
To you, I promise not to make you mad again,
As long as you promise to take away my pain!
