The day has come, the day has gone,
The night is here and will be done!
Everyday I wait for the time to pass by,
Waiting for nothing, expecting to die!
I've seen too much, to much to believe,
Makes me think how can people just leave?
Their spouse, their children and a good paying job,
Just to live on the street and be a slob!
I know how it is to be on the street,
For a week I was there with nothing to eat!
It's not fun, it's not what you think,
I knew I would stay if I continued to drink!
I try to get help and not always succeed,
Maybe a good woman is what I need?
The woman in mind would have to be true,
As I will love her always and forever, through and through!
Nothing will change my mind because I'll be true,
But, the truth is, I really don't know what to do!
