Thinking and thinking all the time,

Wondering how there is so much crime!

So many places with so much to do,

Wondering how the world will pull through!

Doesn't anyone care, doesn't anyone see,

Is it just ignorance, or is it just me?

All the young punks acting so proud,

Gangsta's life they scream out loud!

The grim reality and truth, hard and cold,

If they only knew or were just told!

All of a sudden in comes a trace,

A picture they look at of a friends dead face!

So easy to do, so easy to kill,

Then comes their turn to pay the bill!

A contract on their head so high,

That if they stop running, they will surely die!

So young, so innocent asleep in bed,

Choosing "THUG LIFE" will end you up dead!
