I sit here waiting for the phone to ring,
Hoping that soon it’s your voice it brings!
Working around the clock waiting on eternity,
Just waiting on you to feel me!
Trying everything in my power to get through to you,
Wondering what it is what you want more for me to do!
Days go by, one by one,
Wanting you to come to me before my time is done!
I feel like I’m losing control and your starting not to care,
But my heart beats love for you telling me you’ll be there!
Hope builds deep within my soul,
Helping me to fight and not lose all control.
Anger and frustration trying to push it out,
My confusion growing within making me just shout!
So tired, alone and afraid to lose,
Hoping that I’m not making you choose!
There is on thing I promise that will never come true,
And that is to push you to the point to tell me we’re through!
