I watch you as I peer through the trees,

I wonder, are you gonna attack and bring me to my knees?

I've stayed out of your way for most of my life,

But yet you still insist in hunting me with a knife!

I come out of the woods with a low growl,

Warning you with a frightening howl!

In an instant I feel a sharp pain,

I look for the wound where my blood begins to drain!

Turning to you with so much fate,

Wondering why you are born with hate!

Why must my life end like this,

Does it give you that much bliss?

You didn't even take the time to know me,

Why couldn't you just wait and see?

My pups will never track you in the dirt,

Just to avenge me and get rid of their hurt!

Now, can you answer me honestly, please,

Does it make you happy to turn us into ENEMIES???
