Is love a human right?
Or must we do something to deserve it.
Wouldn't that defy the definition?
Religion plays on that very question; on the vunerability of human conscienceness.
Of course we haven't done anything to deserve love, but we shouldn't have to.
We don't always deserve it, but neither are we undeserving.
That's the beauty of the thing.
It just is.
And we just are.
Love is a right.
It exists and it is ours to accept.

Everything exists... yet lack
Everything exists...
yet lack of everything is everywhere.
True
It is true that things are lacking in the world. The thoughts that sparked this poem were about the difficulty some people, myself included, have accepting love. The fact that love can be lacking makes the acceptance of it when it is present all the more critical. Thank you for the comment!
Yes the lack of it makes one
Yes the lack of it makes one find or thrive for whats lacking.....
Accepted...
