My soul fades as the night grows light
Time is precious.
Mine is short.
As the sun and moon glow and fade
so does my heart
Bright and pure for a moment
Dark and silent hours follow
I wax, I wane
Watch for me
I fade fast
Niced Motif
I am the moon
and moon has
tides that
push and pull
and make
my heart
rush up to
be seen
then fade
casting pieces
of me into a
scurrying of
sand and silt
created shoals.
