I don’t need to watch what I say

When I say it

Or who to.



Now you’re gone

I can do what I like,

Because you’re not there

Watching, judging me.



Now you’re gone

I have freedom,

Space to explore

This big bad world



Now you’re gone,

There’s no one holding me back

Restricting my ways

Making my decisions for me.



But, now you’re gone,

There’s no one to go to for advice

No one to laugh with

No shoulder to cry on.



Now you’re gone

I miss you

I want you back

I need you here.
