Trying to sleep
Yet another night
and I can't sleep
can't dream
only feel a pain so deep
thoughts roaming around
today is now tomorrow
yet another day
filled with pain and sorrow
wishing for something new
hoping this will stop
try to breathe
I can't keep this up
feeling restless
try to put myself to a hold
so many smiles shattered
so many stories untold
painting a picture
of you in my head
so much emptyness
so many things unsaid
I start to feel
like I'm going insane
turn off the light
trying to sleep again
There really isn’t much to say about this. Its great. I’m not very good at writing, so I cant really make any suggestions. This is probably in my opinion telling in truth what a lot of people feel. Its great when people can take feelings and put them into an art form such as this. Keep up the great work.
