When you sing to me

it's like the sweetest lullaby

Your beauty is far beyond

the stars up in the sky



When I hear your words

so softly spoken

you mend all in me

that used to be broken



My eyes run out of

heavy lonely tears

as soon as your poetic music

flows into my ears



Through your lyrics you tell me

that I am no longer alone

because of you I have learned

to be strong on my own



In my darkest hours

you are my only light

you are the one I fall back on

whenever I have lost a fight



With you by my side

I can face it all

you are my backbone

when I have to stand tall



Your angelic voice

will always be

the sound of the sweetest

lullaby to me.
