Stuck to the earth beneath me
held back by my feelings for you
screaming out empty words
without a clue what to do
The night is calling out to me
and the trees whisper your name
the heaven sheds it's tears for me
an alley cat cries out my pain
I am drowning in my thoughts
can't see the things that are clear
I don't expect many thing
I just wish you were here
The leaves fall from the branches
as I fall from grace
they twirl around in the wind
creating an image of your face
All these different feelings
are clotting up in my mind
wishing my dreams would take me away
and make me leave all of this behind
