This is too clingy for me. This type of attachment can lead to great suffering. It sounds more like a lure into “call me maybe,” and possibilities that have hitherto failed. I know what you intend here, but if you seriously want friendship, and you truly want to be there, just be still like a flower and the butterflies will find you when ready. Stop running and whatever is sincerely chasing you will catch up. I would like this poem more if it had a ring of "I will survive - with or without you." Choose the incredible, mosaic love I can offer, or be gone. Your loss buster! Well, maybe not that harsh, but hope with confidence and the potential for your metamorphosis into greater enlightenment, and the wonders of contented freedoms. Yet if "by chance" we meet in the future on a deserted beach, I will share my lunch with you. That's all because, "You get one time around, one roll of the dice, one walk through the garden, one quick look at life; the time that we lose can never be found, the wheels keep on turning and you get one time around." As a man, if I find love I will fight to keep it. These things are too precious to lose because of some foolhearted vanity. Men everywhere fail to see the true value of a woman - before poof - and she disappears. Hold on lightly and firm, but not so tight that you crush the fragile nature of what you may eternally grasp.
