Near a table set, save for a
Smile or two, and silverware
-
(Though the latter strike as nothing
Were it they I came to find)
-
Its nature unremarkable;
The standard nightclub fare
-
(Until I found the former,
And your eyes, returned in kind)
-
I'd say it seems that company
Means more than where you sit
-
(As the the table was familiar
The location nothing new)
-
And from the second since I'd say
That you rubbed off a bit
-
(Should you find yourself inclined
I'd love to smile again with you)
