Ei jogoter rale station e
Koto gari koto lok .....
Mot boye jabo porolok
Koto asha koto akankha
Ma baba bou chele meye
Shobai ki bojha ? Ta kintu noi
Bujhte na parle jiboner khela
Shob kichu bojha mone hoi
Esho amra kuli kuli kheli
Anonde boye jai mote (Sorry couldn't write the Bangla script)
We are Coolies

We are all porters in this world
In this earthy railway station
So many trains so many people
Carrying loads sail to other world
Many hopes many aspirations
Father,mother,wife,children
Are they burdens? No not at all
Cannot fathom the "porter game"
So everything seems a burden
Come lets play "coolie coolie"
Carry our burdens happily

Very straight forward speaking poem; yes we are all responsilbe for other people other than ourselves, as you question "is this a burden"? - some days are good and others bad. Like your frankness in this poem, enjoyed reading your poem it made for a good read.
