Dating
Seven o’clock on the misty mystery winter evening
Putting on the newest pair of clothes and shoes, hat
Looking forward to a delectable night out with a fiancé
The inviting aroma of fresh spicy hors d’oeuvres coupled
With a measure of sparkling fizzy cool drinks , expectations
Biting bits of food looking lovingly into each other’s eyes
Whispering sweet nothings in ever so soft tones….
Holding hands, legs teasing under the table both deep in love
Lazily finishing the dinner both stricken with love
Then the bill is paid… tips exchange hands…. The lovers step out
Into another night .. time to say goodbye. Maybe a tiny kiss
This was perhaps their first day of dating …. Silence ! Don’t shout!
Very cute. I love the way you
