I waddled into the cool internet cafe

Just wanted to keep my EMail ID alive

Clicked on the mouse,entered my inbox

An interesting mail sent by some Adam Smith

Congratulating me asking me to claim my prize forthwith

A chosen sweepstakes winner in some global racket

The money mentioned was a fabulous packet

My brain began crawling like worms on a carcass

I called the telephone number from a public booth

A voice overseas  asked me for a copy of the winning mail

Embracing a PC I waited feverishly..expectantly

I wished I could begin spending the jackpot instantly

My heart thumped, my blood pumped in my veins

Body and soul felt like a horse without reins

Eagerly I hoped,expected a call on my telephone

Maybe....................I was a destined millionaire !!

Doubts began clouding my excited mind and body

I was a "no one" expecting to become a "somebody"

I began frequenting the neihbourhood cyber cafes

Fifty Thousand Rupees I was asked to shell out

Before I could get the money talked about

I eMailed and eMailed begging for time from The God

The God of Money,the Claim Manager at Sify dot com

I expressed my doubts on the authenticity of the prize

Then.........my good sense prompted me to surf the net

The net revealed its treasure about the "phony goons"

I was duped into believing that the Earth has two moons !!!
