Two tired sparrows on a tiny ashen branch
Chirping tiredly .. it's not dusk as yet
So lively at the break of dawn
"Kalipuja" crackers will soon break their placid revelry
The don't bother if its Christmas or "Diwali"
Can't afford to lose sleep.... must awake at dawn
Search for food ,screech in joy in the new morn
Don't bother for concrete house
No hatred,no love,no greed,no grouse
Don't expect warmth from an iceberg
Or cool breeze from a raging fire
Moods swing from fire to ice, hot then cold
Years drift by till you become old
Iceberg heart melts .. angry fire turns to gold
Shining with wisdom,knowledge,praying for ignorance
You can't utter your mundane views
The Gennext don't want to see you in the news
Run away melted heart .. put grime on the shine
Be happy with your role and sip nature's wine
