Umbrella Man

The tiny shop

In my neighborhood

owner a septuagenarian

Ailing from diabetes

And age complications

He made my umbrellas

As good as new

Couple of months back

I found his shop closed

He had become a free soul

I wish the nice soul well

Wherever he's gone

I'll miss his smiley greetings

So different from robo-emojis

I feel sad and keep wondering

If there are umbrellas

In the next world
