My Dear Astromate,
Your kind relative Linda Stimson has informed me about two hours ago that you have landed safely on Jupiter on 25th Oct. I'm certain that you will continue to send me messages & videos from Jupiter on my Interstellar Video Telephone. I was trying to cut down two Christmas trees which are about five feet tall. I'm looking for a Courier service to send you the trees. Carl and Palewingpoetess will help you to decorate them with coloured lights, charms , shiny silver stars and bells. Please do send me a picture of you celebrating the Good Day. I'm sorry I can't be there though I'd very much would have liked to. I couldn't get a seat for the Christmas flight to Jupiter. Maybe I'll join you next year if the spread on your dinner table is worth it.
The elves ,Leperchauns and fairies are strangely missing from my home since you boarded the flight. Looks like you've taken them with you. Interstellar telephone calls are expensive I know but you can always ask Queen Faena for a Freebie phone. She'll be glad to oblige as far as I know her.
By the way Astromate you now look much much younger without the knotty wrinkles and nosy spectacles. It's lovely to see you in colourful clothes sprinting all around on agile feet.The first video was self explanatory about your happiness and new look.
While at Graz you had promised to send me a picture of the "gentleman/lady" who is "in-charge" of Earth, Jupiter & Sun et al. I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing it. As far as I know the guy is quite kind & considerate & I hope that you don't feel like an alien there on Jupiter.
Postpoem readers will thrash me if I try to write any more. I hope this letter finds you happy & peaceful.

Thank you bishu, for letting me know that Jupiter is where Bernie finally landed in his boat full of poetry. We will have to celebrate and write poetry on October 25th. It was kind of his family to let you know. He must have spoken to them of your great friendship.

Death comes in threes. That is an old adage that my grandmama used to say when we heard someone had translocated to a different existence plane. Jupiter? O.K.
The astromate and the communication possibilities you depict are an excellent tribute to a writer of his prolificness and humor. I will miss him and think of him often. He was one of us.

Yes Madam Stella. He was indeed a good friend whose wavelength matched mine though we are poles apart. He taught me how to write prose & funny nonsensical rhymers. Never ever will I find another Bern. Thanks for everything
