Wind

Still the wind blows strong

Trunk has grown in girth

Flowers above so high up

Sunshine bathes the leaves

Morning dew fleeting moments

Knots and Gnarls of time

Monsoon moss on branches

Roots deep underground

Prayers from its pretty dome

Float upwards to heaven

Waiting patiently for bigger wind

The tree will kiss the earth

The final kiss of death

Let's not hasten its departure

With an electric saw

As long as there's life

Let's enjoy the sights

Sights of the tiny green leaves

This is perhaps the elixir

And lessons to live by

When it says goodbye don't cry
