Tea Bags
 16161616

One waste-bin was crammed with tea-bags
The other filled with grubby kitchen rags
Sleep had gone for a marathon run
At four in the morning it wasn't much fun
The ceiling fan had stopped its whirring
Chirping sparrow friends hadn't begun flying
My back began to smart at too much lying
Dawn suns faint gleam was too far away
The moon and twinkly stars were still at play
The two overflowing bins I couldn't think away
Without my glasses I trundled into the kitchen
Picked up the cleanest tea-bag I could get
Took off its gauzy thin wrapper & thread
Made myself a strong cup  & back to bed grin emoticon

Yep this is what happens when demons and ghosts won't let you sleep only I hate tea and I've all but forgotten what sleep is
