As I recall,

On that long snowy day,

In a far off place that we don't remember,

You whispered in my ear,

Something beautiful,

Something sacred,

If I were to recall those exact words,

It would surely kill me,

This memory is painful in a way,

To have heard you speak it,

To have seen you smile it,

This memory I speak of,

It is just a memory,

I feel more alive in it,

Than I can bare to feel,

I wish that it were the present,

I wish that it was real.
