My Floetic Thoughts We met ohhhh ....so unexpected like a thief in the night
Our encounter crept up on us and caught us by surprise
How can U meet someone and feel like you’ve known them for years
Though I know our meeting was meant to be with no doubt in my mind
It was a reason for this....Is it cosmic?
Only time will tell....
Though we were both looking for nothing more than a friendship
Emotions stepped in and took over
Souls connected when least anticipated
Didn’t know I could feel this way without intimacy playing a big part
Although I haven’t been hurt in this lifetime I still hold a shield to my heart
Not to protect myself from what some may call pain
But to guard the most precious jewel that only a deserving one can gain
Just wondering, can two people with good intentions become in-tuned with one another?
On a level of mind stimulation and pleasure like no other
Who knows what kindred spirits will connect only if we let our bearers down?
And let the matters of the heart enter....
