first was there, now is gone

the sun had dissapeared all was soundless

nothing moved except for me

under my covers and turned to my right

i faced the wall and shut my eyes

i slowly began to open them once more

and from the corner of my eye i saw something for sure

first i thought i knew him, but realised i did not

tall, brown hair no expression

the man began to release his tension

i did not flinch my energy froze

he was peeping into my room in slow motion

everything like it was posed

quickly moved to the other side of my door

i could not think of anything, my mind still poor

then whats that! as he wrapped it over his head

demonstrated to me that he must be dead

long thin rope he hung and paused for a moment

then it was done he was his own opponent

moved across my door once more

and peeped slowly into my room like before

i sat up and rubbed my face

was this man part of the human race?

he didnt dissapear until few moments past

then no longer stood but had dissapeared at last

i knew what i saw it was not a dream

i lay back down on my soft pillow, oh how i was keen

i did not move not even shake

then i felt the last of what wasnt a mistake

my eyes closed but he touched my arm

and squeezed just a little

by this time i was feeling very brittle

then into thin air wasnt anymore there

i drived myself to dream of happily

never ive forgotten the night of that mystery

a message may he wanted to pass on

oh how i want to know what was going on

i know theres somthing striving me to get it

but in good time i know ill recieve it

everyday i remember that poor man

with the noose he held in his hand
