Future World in my Brain

The world as we know it existed no more. Space forces had flattened the world from a oval shape to something similar to a flat pancake. One really had this feeling that if one too far on any direction one would fall off the world into space.

The moon had moved from its place that it had held for many aeon's of decades. Moonlight was just a faint something that gave me personally goose pimples on my skin. I avoid going out at night. Light was enough coming from queer shaped somethings above the earth being held in place by some force that not even he worlds best scientists could explain. The light system had been built by a fourteen year old boy playing in his fathers workshop. I myself could never get used to seeing these lights my stomach rolled and tightened into something that I cannot explain.

Other strange effects such as water that ran up hill without being affected by the pull of gravity. One elderly scientist put forward the thesis that this was due to the world having very little thickness it seems so he has often said the iron core that lies in the very center of the earth has been squashed flat. Gravity exists only on the surface of the world. This he explains is why we do not all fly off out into space.

Travel is frowned upon because of the illnesses being passed around the worlds population by people traveling by airplanes. Oil is a thing of the past only a few people remember what oil was nowadays people go everywhere by walking. Foreign countries are frowned upon no one knows what secret weapons have been invented over the last one thousand years. The American States have all become independent there is no United States of America any more.
