Nelliefee’s Dreams.
Nelliefee was getting to be well known all over Fairyland. She told all that would listen of her nightly dreams. Her dreams were similar to the Fairy Stories that I myself write. One dream she spoke about was that for one whole day or should I say night she was the Fairy Queen with all of the Fairy Queens power. In this dream she saved Fairyland from a terrible danger. Mother Nature sent a terrible storm that blew down most of the trees in fairyland. Even the thatched roofs of all of the Fairy Cottages were blown off leaving the Fairies open to the rain that poured down from the night skies.
Nelliefee organised the Leprechauns into teams to repair as quickly as possible the damage done by the storm that Mother Nature sent. The Leprechauns could not repair the thatched roofs and decided to use the fallen trees. Trees were sawn and cut into planks the planks were nailed onto the roofs in such a way that the rain ran down and dripped off the roofs onto the ground. It was the best that the Leprechauns could do in this terrible weather.
Nelliefee in her dream called Mother Nature to get her to stop the storm that had destroyed most of Fairyland. Mother Nature came to Fairyland and looked at all of the damage. Fallen trees the roofs without thatch and the flooding of most of Fairyland; Mother Nature laughed on seeing what the storm had done to Fairyland. It was the laughing of Mother Nature on seeing all of the damage that had taken place that made Nelliefee suspicious. This was not the Mother Nature that was a good friend to all of the Fairies.
Nelliefee took from her sleeve her magic wand and waved it at Mother Nature. Mother Nature turned into a Wizard that all the Fairies knew of it was the Wizard Mandleworth. Nellie fee used her magic wand once again and the Wizard Mandleworth turned into a puddle of water. Waving her wand once again Nelliefee turned Fairyland back to what it was before the Wizard sent the storm in the name of Mother Nature. The trees were standing where they had always stood all of the bushes reappeared as if nothing had happened. The Fairy Cottages were as they were before the storm. The Leprechauns were given each a piece of magic gold for the help they had so willingly given when it was most needed.
Thank goodness this dream was only a dream and one of Nelliefee’s stories. The Fairies loved to listen to Nelliefee telling of her dreams and she became quite famous for her dream stories. Bern
