It isn’t Fair.

Of course it isn’t fair but then what is fair in this world we all live in. Think for a while, is it fair that your Mother had you and Mrs Everyone had no children at all despite her husband and herself seeing a few Doctors and spending all of that money. What a sheer waste of time and expenses not to mention the hurt feelings of the pair that remained barren not their own fault.

Or Mr and Mrs No-one the young couple that invested all of their hard earned savings in that shop down the street, Just to have the place redecorated and the front painted to make it look presentable. Wasted money I can hear you say, I say this too isn’t fair but what is fair in this world we call our own.

Why was that little boy born with such obvious lack of intelligence? It was certainly not the Parents fault both had a very good education both graduated from University with excellent degrees so who do you think was to blame. Certainly not the child and what about his Parents could one give them the blame. I think not.

Who was to blame for that accident where a family lost both Parents? Was it the driver of the car whose brakes failed at that fateful second that wiped out both parents? No I do not think one could blame the driver of the other car he neither wanted the brakes to fail and only two days previously the car had been serviced and was handed back to him as in a good shape.

It was not fair that that little old lady whose bad luck it was to be out shopping when the storm blew up she was soaked to the skin in a few minutes. The fact that she fell and was not found for a while it certainly was not her fault that she died in the Ambulance on the way to hospital. If she had been found earlier she could possibly have been saved. That too isn’t fair.

Can one complain to those in high positions? What about the priests and all of the other religious leaders that are usually full of sympathy, No my friend even they can only utter a few words of sympathy no one can be blamed. What do they say about such things happening?

I will tell you, I have heard this saying many a time in my long life. It is just an act of God. None have said what God is responsible it is solely an act of God. I myself say that this is nonsense how can one blame a God that no one has ever seen and who sits somewhere in Heaven. Another place that is all hear saying no one has ever come back to tell us about this wonderful place- It is easier to say it is or was or ever will be an act of God.

This scribble was written by me Bern after having witnessed an accident. I emphasise an accident no one was to blame. Thanks be, that no one was hurt so this is one accident that will not be blamed on or as an act of God. Of course it wasn’t fair as my title suggests.
