                                                                                                Space Ship Money.

All over the world money was being given to the Governments in a fund to build a space ship; this was no ordinary Space Ship. This was to be one ship to carry ten thousand passengers to a planet that had been discovered way out in space.

The mathematicians had worked out that this ship would travel over a thousand times. The only people left on the world would be the old and those that lived in Jungles and on lonely islands. Really it was all those that had no money to pay into the fund to build the space ship.

All of the industrial countries were working overtime the space ship was being built in Canada. Passenger aeroplanes had been stripped of all seats even the small kitchens had been ripped out of the planes to make room for the parts of the space ship. Every hour a plane landed and huge lorries took the parts to the factory.

Slowly the huge space ship took shape every lifting or anti gravity pad was fitted six yards apart. Sixteen high-powered quark motors were built into the back part of the ship. Electric cables were delivered in fact enough cables to fit out a City as large as London built into the space ship.

The ship finished at last the crew went on board this was the time to see whether the motors and anti-gravity pads were working. For months the engineers had been loading the batteries with quarks from the sun. The Chief Pilot looked at the controls. Satisfied that all was well he pressed the control button. The humming that came from the batteries sounded good to his ears. Next came the anti-gravity pads into action. This monster of a space ship slowly lifted from the ground, the ground seemed to sink as the space ship rose higher and higher. A bright red control button was next pushed by the Chief Pilot. The space ship shot way up into space. The moon dropped back the Earth changed its colour from green to blue soon both the Earth and the Moon were out of sight.

The Chief Pilot put the space ship though its paces two hours later the space ship came in to land in Canada. The Chief Pilot wrote out his report for the World Government. It took one whole year to fill the storerooms with food supplies another two years for the fresh water to be filled into the tanks. Furniture such as sleeping places was primitive as were the seating arrangements.

Planes now landed every quarter of an hour passengers were hurried on board. Two days later the crew took their places. The loud speaker system was switched on, the Chief Pilot welcomed the passengers. The anti-gravity pads came into action and the space Ship rose into the air. The motors now using the quarks as fuel and the space ship shot into space.

Complaints from all of the passengers, no comfort, no proper sleeping beds even the sitting arrangements were terrible and the cooking facilities were very primitive. One week later a mutiny took place. The crew took place in one of the bubble safety life saving space ships it took a Year for them to return to earth.

Five of the Passengers took place in the control room. The crew had taken everything with them. No one had any idea where this new planet was situated. The quark fuel system was fed every moment by the Sun’s

 in the universe. Food and water was plentiful so there was no danger of starving or going thirsty.

The five passengers that had taken over the control room lost control of the ship. One had lost his temper and kicked the control panel. There was no way to steer the space ship and only a dozen of the safety life bubbles were on board. The ship sped into the sun. and nothing was left all of the passengers were killed instantly.

The crew after returning to earth disappeared into one of the jungles somewhere in the Far East and were never seen again. The second space ship was abandoned. No one wanted to leave the earth. The World Government stopped all building of Space Ships. Modern Aeroplanes are now fitted with Anti-gravity pads. Quark engines are the propulsion units and accidents are very seldom
